 I Am - Using My Voice to Express Myself Artistically

This is a really nice project to show students how they can combine written and artistic voices into one cohesive work of art.
This is my example and below are some 2nd grade student examples.





Below is the link to a tutorial I created for this project.  It can be used for Elementary - Adult.


It's really fun to see these completed and how the students choose to express themselves!

Magic Wish Paint Tutorial


I found this lesson online from Artist Casey Rasmussen White who started an online group for creating in place when the quarantine began.  I loved it so much I did a couple of my own and then taught it by zoom to my elementary students.

I used liquid watercolors for these ones, but when I taught it to the students they could use whatever art materials they had at home.





This lesson can be done by any age, simplify for younger and more complex for older students.

I hope you give it a try, we all have wishes that are in our imagination - visualize them and then create them and hopefully they will all come true!
